This workshop is designed for faculty on the academic tracks (Clinician Scholar, Teaching Scholar, (Research), Research Scholar) in the Division of BioMed at Brown University. Participants will be able to discuss the faculty appointment and promotion process at the University. The structure of the session is noted below:
- Presentation by Dean Cyr on the promotion process.
- Panel discussion with senior faculty with considerable experience with the promotions process.
- Track specific break-out sessions. These one-hour Zoom sessions are led by faculty who will share their experiences of having gone through the promotions process. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.
